Inspection Services Captain
The responsibilities of the Investigation Services Bureau is threefold. First, it is charged with maintaining the integrity of the Department through the Internal Affairs Division, the Inspections Unit, the Property & Evidence Unit, the Accreditation Unit and the Medical Control Unit. Secondly, it is responsible for procuring and maintaining all the equipment required by the Department through Fiscal Services and Fleet Services. These items ranges from boats and police cruisers to paper clips. Fiscal Services is also responsible for the Department's payroll. Lastly, the Investigation Services Bureau, through the Planning and Records Division addresses the Department's Information and Technology needs in the form of computer support, records management, administration of grants and research into new "high tech" equipment.
